Lynott lands CU offer

Regis Jesuit offensive lineman Tim Lynott has made a name for
himself at the varsity over the last two years for one of the best programs in

Class 5A. The ability this talented junior has shown helped him receive
his first scholarship offer earlier today from the coaches at Colorado.

When did Colorado end up offering?
"I got offered this afternoon around
3. Coach MacIntyre offered me."
How did they offer you?
"I was doing
service and I got a text from Coach Walters. After that, I went in the car and
talked to Coach Walters. He gave the phone to Coach MacIntyre and that is when
he offered me."
How do you feel overall about Colorado?
"I love the
school. The coaches up there are incredible. I could see myself up there in a
Buffalo uniform."
How did it feel to get your first Division I offer?
"That was pretty exciting because I wasn't really expecting it today. It was
pretty amazing to hear that."
What other schools are in the picture?
"I have CSU, Penn State, and Maryland. There are other ones but those are the
big ones."
What other schools do you feel are close to offering?
"I'm
not entirely sure but maybe Penn State or CSU."
How big are you, size
wise?
"6-foot-4, 295 pounds."
What are they recruiting you as position
wise?
"I'm going to guard next year so I'm guessing it'll be guard. I'm guard
size."
