Shortly after the beginning of his senior football season, 6-foot-2, 200-pound Matthews(NC) Butler wide receiver Jarrett Boykin started nudging his way out of recruiting anonymity. Recently, he burst onto the scene with two big-time offers.

Boykin has offers from Virginia Tech and Illinois.

Boykin says both programs plan to use him in fairly similar ways in their offenses.
